For many, these are disturbing days, with
threats of terrorism, concern for the safety of our children, and
worries about the economy. What can we do?
Remember that God is still in charge
God is still watching over America,
including you and your loved ones. Under His watch
nothing happens by accident. If we fail to believe this,
we will be crippled by fear. This is not necessary
Let me share with you the greatest
news of all:
For those who have trusted Jesus Christ
as their personal Savior, there is nothing to fear. They
have the rock solid confidence of eternal life,
something that can never be taken away, even in death.
They also have a peace in this life that NOTHING and NO
ONE can take away, not even terrorists.
You can have this confidence and
freedom, too:
God loved you so much that He gave His
Only Son to die on the cross for every wrong thought,
every sinful act you have ever committed. If you place
your full trust in Jesus and what He did, you will never
experience separation from God and His love. You will
possess eternal life both NOW and forever.
Place your full trust in Jesus Christ as
your personal Savior.
****Acknowledge your helplessness and hopelessness
without Him and that you are stained with sin (wrong
acts, thoughts, and attitudes). Romans 3:23, "For all
have sinned and fall short of God's glorious
perfection."
****Believe that Jesus, God's perfect and sinless Son,
died for you.
1 Corinthians 15:3
"Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures."
****Claim the promise mentioned above. Place your full
trust and faith in Jesus Christ alone.
"Whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have
eternal life." John 3:16
